Solidary

Our rugs stand for solidarity. Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family’s economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.

Each Lorena Canals product is carefully handcrafted by our artisans in our own factory in India using ancestral craft techniques. All our wool rugs are made with RWS certified wool. Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) is a certification that addresses the welfare of sheep and the land on which they graze.

Washable

We are the creators of the washable rug concept. This rug is machine washable at home, keeping it flawless wash after wash. They’re ideal for everyday use, for homes with children and pets, as they allow you to easily remove any stain just by putting them in the washing machine. Making life easier!

After the success of our washable cotton rugs, we wanted to go a step further and make our wool rugs washable too. Stylish, with incredible textures and innovative designs, our patent-registered WOOLABLE range has shaken up the rug industry and made us first in the World to offer washable wool rugs.

A timeless beautiful wool rug tufted in soft extra-short wool pile, with a slightly longer pile finish around the edges. Handcrafted by our artisans in non-dyed natural color, this charming rug features a distinctive curved design and is available in two practical sizes.Thanks to our WOOLABLE (R) patent, our wool rugs are also machine washable. They are lightweight and less rigid than traditionally tufted wool rugs.Comes with a practical cotton tote bag and a separate anti-slip underlay.

Washing and Care Instruction:

• Wash separatetly at 30 maximum
• Do not use bleach or fabric softeners
• Use a gentle cycle if your rug has braids or fringes
• We recommend using our special sustainable soap
• We recommend using our dryer balls to ensure a longer lifespan
• Tumble dry at low temperature. Do not leave the rug in the washer
• Avoid continuous exposure to the sun
• If you find a long thread cut it with scissors. Never pull it
• Use a low-powered vacuum cleaner regularly
• Clean spots & absorbs liquids.
